01. Anti-aging effect of 1094-61-7
Multiple laboratories at world-renowned universities have conducted in-depth research on 1094-61-7, and the results have consistently shown that 1094-61-7 has amazing anti-aging effects. The most representative one is the research results published in 2013 by the team of Harvard Medical School professor David Sinclair.
In experiments, they found that after mice took 1094-61-7 for a week, the NAD+ content in the body increased significantly, the body’s physical condition began to reverse, the life cycle became longer, and the average life span was extended by about 1/3.
The experimental results caused a sensation in the academic community after they were published in the internationally renowned journal Cell. Since then, 1094-61-7, as a synonym for human anti-aging, has begun to enter the eyes of ordinary people, and it can often be seen in scientific journals such as “Nature”, “Science”, and “Cell”.
02. The cause of aging is DNA damage
Chromosomes carry all of our genetic information and control our life, aging, illness and death.
The body is undergoing chromosome replication and cell division all the time. In order to maintain the integrity of genetic information, there will be a repetitive DNA segment at the end of the chromosome. Every time the chromosome is replicated, a little of this repeated segment will be cut off. The segments that sacrifice themselves to protect chromosomes are “telomeres”. You can think of them like the plastic caps of shoelaces.
In theory, if telomeres are long enough, they can protect chromosomes from shortening. However, the length of telomeres in normal people is limited after all. Once they are exhausted, the chromosomes lose protection and gradually shorten, causing DNA damage, and the cells will inevitably die.
In 1965, American microbiologist Leonard Hayflick proposed the “Hayflick limit”, pointing out that cells in the human body will die due to self-produced toxins after dividing 56 times. Each cell division cycle is approximately 2.4 years. Based on this, it is inferred that people can live up to 120 years old.
The average life expectancy of Chinese people is 77 years, and that of Japan, the world’s longest-lived country, has an average life expectancy of 84 years. Limited by factors such as environment, living habits, and medical care, very few people can actually live to be a hundred years old. If maintaining telomere length can break through the “Haiflik limit”, then how to maintain telomere length?
Hisayuki Amano’s research team at Baylor College of Medicine in the United States made a breakthrough in telomere research and published the results in “Cell Metabolism” in March 2019.
Studies have pointed out that telomere disorder (shortening) is mainly related to the decrease in NAD+ content in the body, and telomere disorder can inhibit the level of Sirtuins (longevity proteins), thereby leading to aging.
The more important finding is that 1094-61-7 can stabilize telomeres and improve symptoms of telomere disorders.
The researchers first gave experimental mice 1094-61-7 for 2 weeks, and then injected the fibrosis inducer CCl4 (a total of 12 injections, twice a week to cause telomere disorder). At the same time, they continued to give 1094-61-7 for 6 weeks and found that taking 1094-61-7 The telomere length of the mice was significantly longer than that of the control group.
The telomere length of groups C and D taking 1094-61-7 was significantly higher than that of the control group
